The Sun’s Joe Warmington figures the dust up between candidates Rossi and Smitherman is more about who will be the main opponent for Ford:
“Make no f’n mistake this spat is more about which Liberal will be left standing to try to knock off the frontrunner because the polls show that there doesn’t seem to be room for two.
But if you put Smitherman’s 23% with Rossi’s 15% and suddenly Rob Ford’s 32 has him in second with a Liberal at the top of the heap with 38. No wonder they are scratching each other’s eyes out.”
