Giambrone’s Future As TTC Chair Debated

With Adam Giambrone leaving the mayoral race under a cloud of controversy, calls for him to resign as TTC Chair continue to grow. The Toronto Sun Editorial Board leads the charge:
But how can the disgraced Giambrone head the TTC in the midst of the worst customer relations crisis in its history, which occurred on his watch?
How can he stand up to union president Bob Kinnear if needed — even if was inclined to, given his NDP background — or direct Chief General Manager Gary Webster?
Adam Giambrone must be removed as chairman of the TTC by his mentor, Mayor David Miller. Now.
Update: In a press conference today, Mayor Miller stated he would not ask Giambrone to step down as Chair.
