Breaking: Giambrone Out Of Mayor’s Race

At a 11am news conference, TTC Chair Adam Giambrone ended his mayoral bid after launching his campaign just over a week ago.
“At a news conference Wednesday, he read a one-minute statement that apologized to his fellow councillors, to the young people of the city and in particular to his live-in girlfriend Sarah McQuarrie.
“I humbly apologize my fellow councillors for the negative attention I gave them,” he said. Then he apologized “to the community and to the young people who believed in me. Finally, I deeply apologize my partner Sarah.”
Then Giambrone abruptly left the podium without taking questions. Minutes later, an aide took the podium and told reporters that Giambrone’s campaign was over.”

This was expected. But the NDP have to be pissed that the liberals in Toronto took down their man. Now that Adam is out, boy george can have an easier run which is what they wanted.
Who really gives a shit! I mean, if this were the case then none of our politicians would be right for the job. They all screw some one over one time or another!
